Jose Alonso joined Rich Products Ventures in 2018 as a senior associate. Jose started his career in investment banking, working on Citi’s Structured Debt and M&A practices. In 2016 he left finance in search for operating experience in food service, working as a line cook at four restaurants including La Mar in Peru and Maito in Panama. In 2017, he embarked on an MBA where he worked with various venture-backed food start-ups and eventually co-founded Caldo Restaurant Technologies, a food service automation venture, before joining the Rich Products Ventures team. Jose has an MBA from UC Berkeley and a BA from Boston College.
